JAKA II is one of two similar more recent designs from S&S built without compromise by Walsted in 2002 - unlike her near sister CAROLINA she is flush deck with a small low profile trunk cabin aft, slightly increased draft and sail area.
Walsted was notably one of Olin Stephens' preferred builders and JAKA II with her varnished topsides and impressive cold moulded construction testify that the builder’s continuing skill in the production of a very beautiful product.
JAKA II is certainly in the spirit of tradition yet her modern fit out and equipment make her ready for a lucky sailing family to go anywhere. This boat since launch has been stored inside when not in use and is presented in near perfect condition.
