These details are provisional and may be amended
Alan Buchanan in a fifty year career had more than 2,000 designs to his credit. This; the Saxon a development of the very successful Vashti, came pretty well mid way at the height of his career when an enormous number of the racing boats then afloat were his designs.
SAEL; beautifully built with high standard of finish throughout to Lloyds 100 A1 and fastidiously maintained has spent most of her life in class. She is still considered to be in excellent condition internally and externally. The powerful rig is nevertheless easy to manage; a boon for extended passages.
