SUNDAY GIRL is hull No 3 and has been restored both structurally and cosmetically to an extremely high standard – while with some modernisation; nonetheless retaining the character that made these boats so sought-after from the beginning. Immaculate is a word oft over-used but it’s really applicable in this case. The current owner is a “serial boat restorer” and enthusiast who gets the important things right and SUNDAY GIRL is not just ready for this season but for many more to come!
Interested in SUNDAY GIRL in more detail.
Records indicate that SUNDAY GIRL started life as ENDBIL and was owned by William Stannard, who kept her in Cannes until sold in 1963. From then until May 1971 she had four more owners before a change of name to PINK CHAMPAGNE and two more thereafter, both in Jersey CI. She was then brought back home to the Hamble, renamed MOONFLEET and then to Cowes during which time until purchased by her current owner in 2007 to become SUNDAY GIRL.
