BROKER'S COMMENTS

FURIOUS was the very last Super Swordsman built by Fairey Marine and is a fine example of the marquee. She has benefitted from careful and knowledgeable ownerships unlike some of her sisters – and with her current owner wintering ashore and inside. A concourse winner, she has been sympathetically updated where necessary and is well equipped with modern navigation aids.

What separates these boats from everything else is their unique style, sea keeping ability and sheer presence. There is very little today that in our opinion remotely compares.

History

Fairey Marine built nearly 60 Swordsman boats between 1964 and 1974. They were a development of the Huntsman 31 express cruiser but with greater emphasis on accommodation and less on engine space. The Super Swordsman benefits from the raised aft cabin with full headroom and its additional en suite head compartment
